Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. attaches great importance to the careful and secure handling of privacy-sensitive information of its website visitors, candidates, employees and self-employed workers. That is why we have drawn up this privacy statement. We treat and protect the personal information entrusted to us with the utmost care.

Who we are
Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. (and our branches in Amsterdam, Breda, The Hague, Eindhoven, Enschede, Flevoland, Leeuwarden, Rotterdam, Schiphol, Tilburg, Utrecht, Belgium, Germany and the UK, Senior Drivers, SeniorStaffing and TopTalent Detachering). We are located in Breda, Ginnekenweg 32. We are responsible for processing your data.
We are the controller within the meaning of the GDPR and therefore determine the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
We sometimes engage other companies to perform services for us. In these situations we remain responsible for the processing of your personal data. We conclude contractual agreements with these companies regarding the handling of your personal data, so that your privacy remains safeguarded.

Technical information
When you visit our website, it automatically collects information about (the devices of) our visitors. This concerns, for example, information about the device with which the website is visited, the IP address of your device, the IP address of your internet service provider, the operating system you use, the date and time of your visit, the internet address of the website from which you linked directly, the pages you visit and the information you view on the website, the geo-location where you are situated and the material you send to and download from the website.

Your personal data is used to provide our HR services to you as effectively as possible, including temporary staffing, secondment, mediation, online staffing, payroll administration, personnel management, personal development & employability and recruitment & selection.
We use your data for the purposes listed below:

To match supply and demand in the labour market.

To inform you about interesting offers regarding our products and services and those of third parties.

To record hours worked and process them in our payroll system.

To assess your suitability and availability in connection with mediation for permanent or temporary work or an assignment, whereby test results may also be used.

To contact you with commercial offers, newsletters and promotional campaigns that may be of interest to you, only if you have signed up for this (opt-in).

To enter into and maintain an employment or personnel/mediation relationship with you and to carry out the relevant administration.

To comply with our reintegration obligations and the (government-imposed) objective of helping people with a greater distance to the labour market into work.

If you are a job seeker, candidate, seconded worker, (temporary) employee, self-employed worker and/or business relation of ours, we may process the personal data listed below. You are responsible for ensuring that the personal data you provide is correct and up to date.

Third parties
We may transfer your personal data to other entities of Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V., our clients, subcontractors (such as data processors) who provide services or carry out assignments on behalf of Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V., suppliers, government bodies and other business relations. And in all other cases in which we may be required to do so, for example by a court order or judgment.
The provision of personal data is based on a legitimate interest, a legal obligation and/or for the performance of the contract, in accordance with the purposes described under “Why do we collect your personal data?”.
Your personal data may be transferred outside the Netherlands. We have taken the necessary measures to ensure that the transferred personal data is adequately protected.

Your rights
We consider it important that you can easily exercise your rights with regard to the processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise one of the rights to which you are entitled and which are listed below, you can contact us as described below.
Access to and/or rectification of data
You may, at any time, request us by email, telephone or letter to indicate which (categories of) data we process about you, for what purposes, from which source the data originates and which retention periods we apply.
You may also contact us at any time to supplement, correct or delete your data. Should it unexpectedly turn out that we have provided incorrect personal data about you, we will correct this.
If you have your own secure web environment or portal, you may also be able to supplement or correct your data (partially) yourself.
When we have amended your personal data, we will inform you of this.
Restricting the processing of your data
If you do not agree with the content of the data we hold about you, you may submit a request to temporarily restrict the processing of your data. In that case we will wait with distributing your data until it is, in your opinion, correct again. You may submit a request for restriction of processing at any time by email, telephone or letter.
When we restrict the processing of your personal data, we will inform you of this.
Right to data portability
You may request the personal data we hold about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format by email, telephone or letter. You are completely free to transfer this information to third parties.
Right to be forgotten
If you no longer wish to make use of our services, you may request the deletion of all your personal data. You can ask us at any time by email, telephone or letter to delete all your data.
You may also withdraw any consent you may have given for the processing of your data at any time. We will stop processing your personal data for which you had given consent. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect processing that has already taken place.
Procedure, response time and costs
We will try to handle your requests as described in this chapter as quickly as possible and at the latest within one month. We are required to verify your identity before we can comply with your requests. Your requests will in principle be handled electronically, unless this is not possible or you request otherwise.
We do not in principle charge you any costs for handling your requests, unless your requests are manifestly unfounded or excessive, or if, in exercising your right of access, you request additional copies.

Security
We do everything we can to optimally protect your personal data against unlawful use. We do this by means of physical, administrative, organisational and technical measures. For example, only authorised persons have access to the data.
If and insofar as data is provided to processors who provide services or carry out assignments on our behalf, Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. has agreed with them that they will also optimally protect the personal data.

Retention period
Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. does not retain personal data longer than necessary for the purpose of the processing and in accordance with the statutory retention periods.

Questions, comments, complaints or (suspected) data breach
If you have any questions, comments or complaints about how we protect your personal data, you can contact us by email, telephone or letter.
If you do not agree with our use of your personal data, you can also submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

If there is a (suspected) data breach, we ask you to report this immediately by email, telephone or letter.

Changes
Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. reserves the right to amend or change this privacy statement. None of the provisions of this privacy statement are intended to create any obligation or contract between Recruit a Student Personeelsdiensten B.V. and any data subject.
